Finally got my bakers dozen of jumbo ginger coturnix quail eggs. They spent a week in the mail, temps have been hovering around freezing (potential cold exposure), and we have saddled and mobile air cells in multiple eggs (sign of severe shipping trauma), this might be a dumpster fire hatch! My last batch like this had a 25% hatch rate. So we’ll name any of these little red headed survivors after famous disasters, real or fictional: titanic, Hindenburg, wreck of the hesperus, Chernobyl, Black Death…be creative but we might not need many! As an extra bonus you can guess the actual hatch rate, will it be a true disaster or not? We will know in 17 days or so!
Let's grow disaster quail!
Call her Corona.
