Hey everyone, I have this pullet who has a bad beak since birth and was just wondering if I could cut it any certain way before she grows up to make it easier for her to use her beak to forage and peck at grass as currently she needs deep layer of pellets to reach any food. I’ve attached photos of the beak in the post, any input is appreciated.

That's called scissorbeak (edit or crossbeak). If you look up that term on this forum, there will be threads discussing the condition, how to trim the beaks back so they can get food and water the best, and special raising conditions needed for them to thrive.

Sharp dog claw trimmers or dremmel to trim, don't go into the quick of the beak. Edges and length can/should be trimmed to enhance function.

Often need deep food bowls with moistened crumble feed so they can get enough to eat and the food sticks together enough they can get it in their mouths.

This is considered a special needs chicken. Scissor beak often gets worse the older they get. You will have to manage this condition and trim their beak their whole life. Good luck!
