Disease or Injury??

I have a hen just over a year old. Recently I found a gash on her back, and blamed it on the roosters being so rough. It started healing but I noticed another spot on her that looked like an abcess or boil and today I found a spot that looked like dried blood on another hen's back, just under her wing. I guess it could all be from the roosters, but if anyone has heard of this, please let me know. Maybe I should separate these 2 hens, because I sure don't want this to spread to the others. Meanwhile, the roosters are out of the pen while I try to find homes for them.

It all sounds like the rooster damage I saw from one fellow who was a bit too rough.
