Disease .... wear feathers ...external parasites ???

they look like they may need a different diet, the male in the bottom looks a bit thin even with feathers and they both lack lust in their feathers.
A good worming would be good also. safe guard for goats is a safe wormer for peas .

What wormers can you get in Hungary? Like Zazouse, I also think he looks thin and could probably benefit from a better diet.

Isn't the second picture from Texas Peafowl? A peafowl breeder in NY got some birds from Sid and I think that Purple Blackshoulder Pied peacock and a peahen were included. If they are the same bird, the peacock is perfectly healthy and beautiful since I saw him a week ago. But who knows if this is actually the same peacock...

I bet he is beautiful being health and all, is his neck blue all the way now? he looks to be a purple pied but then i see IB pied till i look at that dark back, very pretty color combination

I cannot remember exactly. I think it has some of that interesting color in its neck, but either way it looked healthy and beautiful.

The best option to figure out why this color combination makes the peacock's neck color the way it is, one would have to contact Sid to be sure.

Thanks for that Kathy. Now I am sure that is the peacock since the peafowl breeder got a peahen with that peacock. I do not think anything is wrong with that peacock in the second picture. It would be interesting to see what's up with the peacock in the first picture.
