dislocated shoulder

one of the 3 of my chickens has dislocated her wing from the shoulder joint. I wasn't sure but had a gentleman at Tractor Supply who has raised chickens for years look at her and this is that he said. He trimmed the wing so that it would be slightly lighter for her. I was wondering if anyone has experienced this problem. I am worried some about how she will do. She seems to walk ok but does have some miss steps, she is eating well and drinking ok but cannot get up into the roost like she used to. I am hoping that she will be ok but am worried about when colder weather comes. Does anyone have any advice?

If she's eating and walking I think you're lucky. Not sure what cold weather has to do w/ the wing.

I have no idea really, sorry. But you should repost this under the Emergenies/ Diseases/ Injurys and cures section. Maybe some people looking there might have a solution?
