Disoriented Runner Duck

Hi!
This evening my Runner drake started behaving disoriented and I'm very concerned.
He has been standing in the same place - occasionally turning around.
He is not drinking or quacking. I can pick him up - and he's usually too shy to be held.
He seems to be breathing normally, and has no sign of injury.
He was ok all day - and wandered around the yard at his mealtime as normal.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Do you ever worm your ducks?? Another possibility is that he had eaten something that does not agree with him. Keep an eye on him for repeat or continuing behaviour - and try to encourage him to take some food and water.

Head injury? Perhaps he got startled and ran into something.
