Any way to distinguish Red Stars from Red Ranger broilers? I got my order from McMurray today and we are separating our meaties (cornish and red rangers) from our layers (whiting greens and red stars). I'm having difficulty figuring out which are Red Ranger and which are Red stars. Any tips??
(I know we can wait a week or two an the RR will be bigger. But they are indoors right now in a small brooder while I make sure they eat and drink. They will outgrow that before then as there are 30 birds in there. I'm trying to get them sorted into their appropriate outdoor brooders.)
