Diving Ducklings (Video Link)

Today was the first day I let my ducklings in the pond to swim. Its 90 degree out and a small pond (100 gallons) and I never left them alone. Boy did they love it! Well at least two of the three. I wish I had my camera because two of them dove underneath the water to the bottom!!! How neat! I just thought they'd stick their heads underwater and paddle around! I'm going to head out with my camera next time and hope to catch them in the act.

I call it "submarining" when they dive.
I've had my babies 2 months and still LOVE watching them in their little pool.

Ducks are wonderful.

What kind of ducklings do you have?
I have 3 white Call babies and I adore their messy, stinky, loud tails to pieces.

I have three pekins! I would have LOVED the white calls, but they are hard to find this time of year and the hubby really wanted Pekins for their personality. But I'm super happy with them. Tonight they followed me EVERYWHERE!

Love them. I noticed one of them decided to just spectate and not join in the diving.
I love watching how happy they are and how much fun they have in the water.
