Hello everyone...name is Jeff and this is my first experience with chickens (well raising them anyways). First I would like to say what a great site...I have learned a ton by reading here and have gained much confidence in this endeavor.
Anyways...we live in CO and the weather is just starting to turn which makes a lot of things easier. This is something we have talked about for awhile and somewhat impulsively jumped into last thusday. We are starting with four chicks...all different breeds. So far they are doing great, seem happy and healthy, and have been the center of the kids attention.
I look forward to learning from everyone here and watching these little buggers grow!
