DIY automatic coop door

Based on other posts I was able to use a used car antenna, one 12v power supply, a 110v relay and a timer to make its automatic opener. Total cost $28 (I had a timer) and it works great!

If you think that is clean then look up how to do it with a smart switch or two timers and a linear actuator. it you thing this is clean then you will be amazed of how clean the better alternative is.
