Hi everybody, I just finished building my first ever diy cabinet incubator. Right now it can only hold 48 eggs but there's space for two more trays. The only problem with it is the humidifier just burns through the water too quickly, it has a 3 liters tank and will just run dry in a day and a half or so. Any ideas on how to improve that? By the way this is to keep the incubator at 40% rh, I wouldn't even wanna imagine what it would be like in lockdown...

Sorry no one replied. What did you end up doing?
I moved the humidifier outside and connected it to the Bator through a hose, that way I don’t have to open it to refill the tank, first run of the Bator got a 60% hatch rate (could’ve probably gotten 80% but had a few unrelated problems)

Congrats on 60%. Hope your next hatch rate is higher. :fl
Yeah! Looked like some more might have come out had I given it a bit more time, but I had a “surprise” And had to cull all the remaining eggs after 1 day from the calculated hatch day and put some new eggs in that a broody had left behind.
