I could build probably 2 mega mega sized runs that are about 1-3 Akers each, I live on a huge farm so that’s why I have so much room/fencing lol

We have 135 Akers of land and around 45-100 cows every year and they break fencing and we repair it all the time. Sometimes we want to shorten there fields because they are eating the grass to slow and they already have a lot of space

I *think* making the cave thing out of chicken wire should work. I still have to go get a heating pad. I’ll probably get it today.

Went to town and could not find the heating pad I wanted. Argh

Those no waste feeder need a cone in the center glued down. A large funnel with the spout blocked would work. Other wise food lays in the center un-eated and not accessible and collect moisture. I copied @jthornton feeder as it has a slopped bottom. The large funnel makes the slope. I made one froma tupperware tube and it needed cleaning all the time. JT's design never needs cleaning and I have two and 40 chickens.

Also made an electric ohio brooder which would be much easier than making a heat plate.
