Do a frizzle and a silkie always make a sizzle?

I am crazy about frizzles but there is no where to get them around here so I went to Craigslist. Someone on Craigslist has three blue frizzle x silkie chicks so I contacted her and she is going to give them to me!
Here's the catch- I have to drive an hour and a half to get there. :/ I figure if these chicks are what I have pictured in my mind though-sizzles- they are going to be so totally worth it. So what makes a sizzle?
Also, she doesn't know if they are pullets or cockerels and I desperately hope at least one is a pullet because I am going to only keep one rooster and some of the other chicks I have are probably roosters so there is some decision making. Do you think there is a good chance at least one will be a hen?

I have been doing research on byc and have read a couple times that sizzles are silkies with curly feathers. Does that mean these frizzle x silkie chicks are not sizzles?
