Do baby chicks need heat

so I have been raising silkies I started with two and now have 19 but what I was wondering is do the chicks need heat if they are staying inside untill I sell them bc I don’t have and incubator my hen just hatches them

If you keep them with the mother, they do not need heat. If you remove them at hatching, they need a heat source.

Depends how old the chicks are and how warm your house is. But you can just get a plastic storage bin and put the little boogers in it and clamp on a heat lamp..... voila!
