I have some Bantam Salmon Faverolle set to hatch on the 3rd.
Day 18 is the 31st.
Do the little guys hatch earlier than the standards??
Should you stop turning/raise humidity with the bantams earlier?

i cant say for sure but i think they take the same amount of time to hatch as a normal chicken.

Most all the bantam eggs I have ever set hatch out 12 to 24 hours before the standards. Much depends on simple temperature adjustments but I am always pleasantly surprised with pips late on day 19 or early on day 20. It takes some of the anxiety out, especially if you convince yourself they will be out on day 21. LOL

bantams tke the same amount of time as any other chickens. When incubated together the bantams usually beat the standards. This is due to the fact the the standard eggs being larger generate more heat and hold more heat than that of a small bantam eggs and that heat accelerates the small egg just enough to hatch a few hours before. when all the eggs are the same size there is no advantage so time variations are less noticable.
