i have two barred rocks that try to peck at me when i scoot them off there nesting boxes. i have small children and am outside alot. but it is hard for me to keep up with how long they are on the nest and how long ago they have laid. several of our hens like to use the same nesting box too. so i don't want them to sit there forever or become broody hens.
now we have four black sex links and they are the sweetest. i can stroke there tail feathers all day long and move them a little for the egg and they don't peck at me for it.
i wouldn't dare try to stroke some of my barred rocks they are to moody, well two of them are anyways!
has anyone else experienced anything like this at all?
