Do Black Sex Links get along with Red Sex Links?

I apologize if my post sounded rude. It wasn't meant to be taken that way. I just thought it was a weird question.😟

N.P. It's just that I adopted a half dozen leg horn hens and they did not get along with my red sex links. We returned the leghorns and I have an opportunity to get some blacks and I was just wondering if they will get along ok with my reds.

Your flock already has their pecking order set up. It won't matter what breed or color you try to introduce there will be issues unless you integrate them correctly. You can't just throw new birds in any flock of any breed and expect them to just get along.

You need to search how to integrate new birds and read up.

How did you introduce them? Did you do the proper look but don’t touch thing for like a week or two first? If you just tried to throw them together then it makes sense why they didn’t get along and won’t matter what breed you try to put with them. They need to be integrated properly and even with proper integration it can sometimes take weeks or months for them to fully accept newcomers. How long did you have the leghorns? Red sexlinks can be somewhat mean to other birds so proper integration is even more important.

If you are adopting you have to introduce them correctly if you don't they will likely not get along I have all 3 of those breeds and they are all different ages and get along great it took them about a week to be totally good with each other they have to get there pecking order worked out and then they will be ok
