I have 5 Andalusian chicks. At two weeks old, 2 are white, 1 is a bluish gray, and 2 are charcoal gray. Will they keep these colors when they grow up?
I had to order 25 chicks, so I got 5 each of 5 different breeds, but I only have room for about 12 chickens. I'm keeping 2 of each breed, plus a couple of extra. I'm giving the rest to a neighbor. I want to be sure to keep the Andalusians that are most likely to be blue.
The other breeds I have are Brahma, Leghorn, Buff Rock and Wyandotte. Will these get along with each other when they are grown? At 2 weeks old, they seem to play nicely together.
This is my first experience with chicks, and I have managed to keep them alive the first two weeks thanks to all the wise people who post on these forums. I really appreciate all your help.
