Do Brahmas Chirp loud when lonely?

i got a brahma chick 5 days ago and ever since it was put in a box its been chirping loudly is it lonely?

Are you providing heat for the chick? It is probably lonely - chickens are 'flock' animals. Try putting a mirror in the box for 'company'.
 
Probably lonely, but I would check on warmth level, too. My guess is that the chick is in distress of some sort (if it's the same loud chirping mine make when they get flipped on their back or cold, etc.); the chick is chirping loudly for a mother hen that could fix any problem, including loneliness.

Usually folks buy a few chicks. Can you buy another? Or are you going integrate it into an existing flock you have? One chick will likely be lonely all its life.
