Hey guys, I am planning on bidding on a 50 egg semi auto incubator on ebay, problem is i will never have 50 of the same breed of egg to hatch at one time, so if i went on ebay and brought lets say 6 buff orpington, 6 silkie, 6 light sussex, 6 rhode island 6 white leghorn and 6 Light brahma eggs, could i put them in the bator at the same time, and expect them to hatch at the same time, as I realise you have to up the temp a bit at the end.

Cheers

Aaron

Those breeds should have the same 21 day incubation time as should most chicken breeds its only serama that I know have slightly shorter incubation.
You can still incubate other species at the same time either by having a seperate hatcher or by setting eggs accordingly to hatch the same time eg, for ducks and chickens you would set the duck eggs a week before the chicken.
Hope that helps

I have some hatched a few days ago and can't seem to stop thinking about getting more egg to hatch.
