do chicken feathers grow back??

i'm not really sure where to post this... i just got 5 2-3 year old hens. 2 of the hens were the roosters "favorite" lol and one just has a bad wing.
 
Yep they molt once a year and get new feathers in. Feathers lost from getting pulled by other chiclems do come back.
Sounds like you may want to get them some hen saddles for protection while the new feathers grow back.
 
oh i just got them from someone else. i got them like this. i have no roosters, there is some around but i haven't seen them act any kindaway towards my hens. poor things.
 
yes, feathers do grow back, chickens molt once a year, my two girls are growing their feathers back, growing feathers back to full length takes awhile though.
 
I Can't Wait For Them To Start Looking Healthy Again. I Named 1 Chicken Sh*t For Now Lol. Cause She's Scared Of Everything Lol. Yes, Even Her Reflection And Shadow.
