So I have a incubator with 30 + eggs, set to hatch for this wednesday, locked down, good to go. And what do we find tonight? 5 and counting Cornish crosses ( Delaware, Buckeye, and leghorn/orpington possible crosses) They are pipping and cheaping, one is almost completely out of its shell....ummmm so do Cornish have less incubation time or something?? I candled ALL my eggs before we locked down, all of them had little chicks doing the conga in them. And I am 99% sure I have my dates right, so what the heck happened? Just curious to know for next time!

weird. oh well I have 5 out of their shells now, all body parts accounted for.
