Do dogs get vaccinated for Chlamydia ??

I recently found out dogs get Chlamydia?? Does this spred to humans to and do they get vaccinated for it? I also read birds and other Livestock can get it.

Dogs do not normally get vaccinated for it. It is not often diagnosed in them so that is probably why preventative measures are not taken. http://www.provet.co.uk/health/diseases/chlamydia.htm says it can be passed to humans.

The avian version and some other species is not the same as what humans regularly get and is rarely passed to other species.
