I am desperately trying to find this answer!! I even emailed Cornell University and no one has gotten back to me...all I keep getting is ' I don't know about ducks' ....does anyone have a yes or no answer to put my mind to ease.? I have a swedish blue that was in close quarters with a rooster who has it....

I don't think ducks can catch Coryza. I actually know VERY little about it, so you might want to keep looking for a second opinion, but here are a couple of links I found that make me think it is only something you should worry about with chickens:

This site says that chickens, guinea fowl, pheasants, and turkeys can get Coryza and that it is "assumed" that other game birds MIGHT be able to get it IF they are around loads of other infected birds. (Sounds pretty speculative to me!) It doesn't say anything about ducks or geese, and since they mentioned every other type of poultry under the sun, I would take that to mean ducks and geese can't catch it.

This site says that ONLY chickens can get Coryza, and that even in guineas and pheasants it might not be Coryza that people see but some other illness that resembles it.

I wouldn't worry too much! Is your duck acting sick at all?
