do ducks go in at night

i have 2 peking ducks that are about a month old. if i build a duck house for them, will them go in at night like chickens do.

My ducks always go into their night pen by themselves if I forget to call them. Otherwise, I feed in the evenings, so they rush to get in at dinner time.

Possibly? i have some young ones, (their 8wk today/tomorrow) and they go in the barn at dusk. The adults vary, sometimes they do, sometimes they just wait outside for me to nudge them that final step lol

I am actually not familiar with how chickens go in as mine don't have access to their run.

my group of 7 go into their coop at night also.if they didnt over here id be afraid of what would get them.only took couple of nights of chasing them in for them to learn to do it themselves.

Mine go in at night.
That's not enough to keep them safe where I live, though. I have to be out there to lock the door before dark.

thanks. all replies helped a lot. i had 3 duck til last night. i thought that they were old enough and big enough to stay in the pond. wrong. coon got one of them. i am building a house for them now. thanks again.

Ya, they won't last without Protection from Predators. I forgot to tell you that I always latch their door at night.
