do ducks go in there house?

From June to September, my 2 ducks were in a temporary enclosure that just consisted of their large duck house and a small pen. If not outside in the pen,they were sleeping in the house. Now they are in a huge run, shared with chickens. And now I have 3 ducks. But I have noticed they are never in the house, (the house stays clean and dry inside). 2 weeks ago at lunch I did see the one duck inside but thats it. today I snuck back to check everyone out and I saw them sleeping outside by the water. Is this what ducks do? Is it because the run is bigger that they don't go into their house?

I noticed there was a similar post like mine, except in my case, the ducks used to go in their house before I put it in the run. So its not a new house. And I did see the one duck in there 2 weeks ago. But just that once.

I think they just like being out in the open. Some nights mine go in with the chickens, other nights they would rather sleep in their pool, but I make them go in the coop.

They have their own house. They have a duck house. The chickens have their own chicken coop (complete with roosts) on the other side of the run.

My Calls actually never go into their houses either...

Its just odd that they used to but maybe because it was a small enclosure then. they went from a 3' x 2' into a 10' x 10' or larger (I really can't measure lol)

Possibly.....I never worry about it..
