I have the luck to get 6 out of 7 cockerels?
I have some pictures I can upload and post later, but I have 7 EE chicks. 5 are different stripe/partridge type pattern colors with pea combs, and two are a dark black with brown barring and single comb. All of the pea combs are starting to show different degrees of pinkness, and one of the single combs is looking pretty pink. They are about a month old. 4 of the 5 peacombed ones are just as pink as my Delaware cockerels were at that age that were definitely roosters.
Please tell me that pea combs turn pink early in both genders...
(but don't lie to me!)
