I have a 4 week old gold laced cochin and she/he has very a red/pronounced comb as well as waddle already. There are 5 points on her comb. Could she be a roo based on this? Or is it still too early to tell?

I would say wait a bit longer, 5 points really don't mean anything unless it's different types of Roos of SOP, If you have any pics, please share, it would help a lot

The number of points don't mean anything, but the red comb does. Sounds like a little roo. Cochin hens are usually pretty late developers.

Here are pics of our 3 babies. 2 are unsexed & could be roos. They're each about a month old. One is Clementine -- a blue splash Ameraucana. One is Dorthea -- a gold laced cochin & one is Disco -- a silver laced Wyandotte.
