We are starting our second year with chickens and are on round two of life with chicks. Last year we got 6 white leghorns (although lost 1 to a hawk late last summer) and have had fun raising them. This year we decided it would be nice to add some color to our flock and have 2 week old chicks picked up from the local feed store. We have 2 RIRs, 2 Barred Rocks and one Araucana (although I realize it is really an EE). Anyway, the EE has very dark green legs and feet - does this mean she will probably lay green eggs or is it not related at all? Just curious.

Thanks!

the ear lobs are what you look at. White ear lobes white eggs blue ear lobes blue eggs-(except with silkies) red ear lobes brown eggs
