Do i feed the babies a different food if momma takes care of them

If I let My hen hatch the eggs and take care of the babies do i change their diet and if so how do i keep momma from eating the chic food?

I have always fed my broody momma's chick starter as well. She's the one that teaches them what to eat and how.

I read in several articles that she can have chick starter with the chicks because she wont be laying eggs till she is done raising them anyway.
