OK, I know the pics aren't good, but they run around so much! I know the black australorpe is a rooster (saw him crowing, and he keeps jumping the cornish x). My neighbor saw 1 of the red chickens crowing, not sure what kind, Delaware? They look very similar, though 1 has a more rounded body and the tail seems to point downward. They are all 11 weeks.
I'm trying to catch them in the act of crowing - but haven't been able to so far. We are going to take the cornish x to be processed, and I want to take 1 rooster also. It's about 20 miles, so I don't want to make 2 trips, but I really want to make sure I take the rooster. Could it be that both the reds are roosters?
Thanks for any help you can give.
