Do I have a problem?

I have 6 chickens, 2 doms 1 marans and 3 golden comets. One of the doms started squatting 3 days ago and still does sometimes when I approach her but this morning she started acting a little slow. She picked up again later in the day but this evening again is walking slow closing at least one of her eyes when she is standing still even sometimes taking a couple of steps with her eyes closed. She has had a couple of gooey poops normal color but kind of loose not watery. Is there something wrong? Is it maybe because she is about to start laying? I was getting so excited at the prospect of an egg and now I am worried I might lose her. Her eyes are clear, no sign of any breathing problems. Any ideas?

No ideas? I was just back out and fed them some sweet potato. She gobbled it up so at least she is still eating. Any ideas or suggestions would be much appreciated. Otherwise I guess I will just wait and see. I don't have a clue what could be doing this to her. It is mostly just her one eye that she keeps closing. Maybe it got scratched in some weeds or something. Please some reassurance or suggestions as to what I should do....please???
