My "girls" are 4 weeks old now, and everyone is following the same feathering pattern except my SS so im a little suspicious. I know it's still pretty early, but i thought the experts here may have some sexing tricks

Here are the chicks in question:

Speckled Sussex

RIR

And my EE

And just for comparison, here are all the girls. Notice how scraggly my SS looks compared to the rest of the flock!

Any opinions?

Speckled sussex looks like a roo to me. Maybe the RIR as well. They are very young though.... so I'd wait for a few weeks and then post again

Total guess here. Too young for me to tell. But, Sussex looks to be strutting like a little roo and the color of your EE seems roo'ish.

Arent Sussex chickens slow growers? Probably why she's still downy. That EE looks like an EE I had back in '93. SHE laid mint eggs :o)

SS - rooster (slow feathering and check out those big feet!)
RIR - pullet (fast feathering and no rooish signs yet)
EE - pullet (quite sure on this one, EEs can be sexed by color)
