Do I need to Clip my mallards wings

I have two mallards and was wondering if I needed to Clip there wings or if they will stat

If they are not totally contained you will need to clip their wings. Mallards are great flyers and are likely to fly away no matter how domesticated they are.

If you don't want them flying around your property, It'd be a good idea to clip.

Never needed to clip my Mallards, and I've raised several. Yes, they do still fly quite well, but are pretty unlikely to migrate. If it makes you more comfortable, however, clipping isn't a bad option.

I don't clip mine either, but if the OP lives in a somewhat populated town you wouldn't want the ducks in your neighbor's backyard.
