My eggs are hatching and one that hatched 20 mins ago has something on him/hers rear or back. Do I need to do anything about this?

No, I'm sure it will dry up and fall off. Check it again when they're all fluffy.
Ok, thank you. One part fell off. It is dragging around what I assume is the umbilical cord. It keeps tripping and falling into the other eggs. It makes me chuckle but also concerned about the other eggs.

If they're all on lockdown they'll be fine. I've had chicks leave their trail of stuff on other eggs. No harm. They all hatched within a day or two of each other anyway.

Oh no the hatched chicks pecked a egg open on wrong end. What do I do? Do I help the chick in the egg they they opened?
