Do just-hatched baby chicks move around in the incubator a lot?

Hi! I'm hatching three different breeds of chicks in the same incubator, but when they hatch I will need to be able to tell the difference between them. They all look similar when just hatched, so I'm wondering if chicks that have just hatched move around a lot in the incubator? Will they stay in the same spot they hatched?

They don't stay in the same spot that they hatched, they will move around all over the place.

If they look similar when hatched, you may just have to wait until they get older so you can i.d. them.

There are a lot of breed experts on here; it wouldn’t hurt to post pics when they hatch. Some people may be able to ID them... or they may tell you that you need to wait a few weeks.
