Do Liege Fighter's actually kill hawks?

I can’t speak for the Liege Fighter but I had a game hen kill a hawk that was after her chicks. The hawk made the mistake of getting too close to a brush pile and the hen had very sharp spurs. She pinned him in the brush and he was doomed.
