I have one Easter egger and one ameraucana. They are 4 years old and do eat and drink fine. However, they do just act overall slower then my younger ones. The rest are under a year old and are a ball of energy. The older girls will do there own thing and refuse to hang out with the younger ones:lol:

They have basically stopped laying aswell.

Slowed down? Perhaps they have matured some instead of being frivolous youth, maybe like a puppy that outgrows that "must chew everything and have to destroy as much as I can" phase. Yes, they do mellow out as they mature.

Their first two laying seasons are when they lay great. After their second adult molt egg laying does usually decrease. With some hens it is not a lot, with some it can be a lot. If you have enough for averages to mean anything it is certainly noticeable. After their next adult molt it declines even more. Your 4 year olds have probably had three adult molts so reduced egg laying is really noticeable. That sounds like what is happening with yours. So, I agree, normal.
