I incubated and hatched 8 goslings 1 week ago, Toulouse and African.
I've cuddled them and given them a bunch of attention. When I talk to them they answer back loudly!
When i stop talking so do they! The only problem is they seem afraid of me when I reach into the brooder they run away and yell at me.. they straighten their necks and yell! Should I be worried or is this normal Gosling behavior?

As prey species most poultry does not like to be approached from above as that is where aerial predators come from. If you can get down to their level and encourage them to approach you. Feed/treats are the great equalizer.
