Another true story:
So, I'd just changed the water in the ducks wading pool and was sitting and watching them frolic when I noticed one chicken taking a real interest in their behavior. She'd cock her head to one side and than the other, just watching the ducks having such a great time. She kept this up for about 3-4 minutes, and than walked over to the pool and watched from close range for another minute or so. Than, much to my surprise she suddenly stuck her whole head into the water.
Of course, she immediately came up sputtering and coughing and went running off to the other hens clucking madly. I'm guessing that she was probably telling the rest of the chickens that the ducks were crazy for doing such a thing.
As an old girlfriend used to say, "Where's the Kodak when you need it?"
Believe it or not.
