Do Orps mature slowly for fertility?

I have 3 Orpington hens and 1 BSL hen with an Orpington roo. 2 Orp hens and the BSL were hatched March 10 last year, and the roo and final Orp hen were hatched April 23 last year. I am doing a test hatch of their eggs, and the only ones that appear to have any development are the BSL hen. I have been looking at the eggs I cook, and think I am seeing a bullseye, but I am no expert. I trimmed my roo and ultra fuzzy Orp girl ( they are 1/2 english and much fluffier)behinds, but have not touched the BSL or less fluffy hatchery Orps. My over loved hen didnt even have fertile eggs, yet the BSL who he rarely favors seems too, so my question is, do Orps mature slower than other breeds possibly? BTW- I am getting a few more hens as I know my ratio is low- I didnt really think Id keep a roo, but he's so pretty and sweet:)

Sorry this is off the subject, BUT. I cant get a roo from my orps. I am willig to buy/trade for a BO roo if you have one. Age is nit a concern.

if they are hatchery birds they mature alot sooner if they are from breeders that take longer to fill out some even up to 18 months before they are done we love big breeder orps
