So I’ve got a bunch of silkie Roos that I hatched, but I can’t keep all of them. I was wondering: Do people like to buy roosters? I don’t want to eat them 😂

I've seen quite a few roosters on craigslist. It may depend on what other people have to offer, pricing, what you have, and the quality of the product... and of course what people are looking for.
Okay. They’re super tame and don’t freak out when touched, and they are really pretty and purebreds.

You could try craigslist. Are you okay with them being used as meat? Or just pets? Make sure to specify what you want them going for. Also, talk about the birds a bit. Tell how old they are and that they are tame. Post cute, clear pictures. Maybe the right person will be looking at just the right time.

Generally people cull most Roos unless they want them for breeding. If they look like they have good or sought after genes you may be able to find new homes for some of them.
If you don’t want to have them butchered or want to eat them, you could also sell them as butcher roos.

All depends on what you have to offer and what people in your area are looking for. I’ve had roosters that I couldn’t even give away and I’ve had someone offer me 30 dollars for a RIR because they were looking for one. It’s always worth a shot putting up an ad though. I would put on up on Craigslist and maybe on the bulletin board at the local coop or feed store if you have one. I wouldn’t even try Facebook though they don’t allowed animals to be advertised and all my posts have been deleted in a few hours.

Possible post a picture of them being held if you can to, helps show that they are okay with being handled
