Do regular breeds, like Plymouth Rocks, grow slower?

Mine seem to be growing slower than my Amber Links and Golden Comets. They will end up heavier and wider and from what I can tell won't lay until quite a bit later so I'm just wondering if the other birds just have fast growth bred into them. On another front I'm trading my BR rooster for a Salmon Flavorelle(sic) hen so that should add some pretty to my flock.

I am not an expert lol, but I kept reading my BR will probably outweigh my Easter Egger. They are the same age, but my EE seems noticeably bigger then the BR. Both are girls and 6 weeks old, I keep waiting for the BR to catch up lol so I think it might have some truth to it. Like I said though, this is only my second group.

I have two six week Partridge Rocks and they're smaller than the rest. My two Australorps are so much bigger followed by my two Silver Laced Wyandotte. They do seem to be catching up a little.
