Hey everyone I have a trio of ringnecks and i'm really wanting to hatch some eggs from them to build up my flock but my incubator is gonna be in use all spring with other projects and i was wondering if the ringneck hens will go broody and hatch their own eggs? If i put a nest box in their pen will they lay in the nest box?

Thanks.

depends on their enclosure...they need to feel fairly safe and have a good hiding place and not be disturbed...so...maybe

I haven't seen them use a nesting box like a chicken but am willing to bet there are folks that have some that do
