Does anyone know if rinsing eggs constitutes as "washing" them in regards to it's need for refrigeration? I just give my eggs a quick rinse in the sink to get dust off of them, no chemicals. Is this rinsing in water enough to remove the bloom and require refrigeration?

I always refrigerate our eggs, and I would recommend it. The eggs can stay fresher that way, and they wont rot so quickly. Hope I helped!

Well I was wondering how my eggs would do unrefrigerated since I'm getting more than what can fit in my fridge right now. I'd like to hold them until I can give them to family but the fridge is just too full.

When I get in that situation I leave them unwashed until the day I sell them and tell the customer to refrigerate them soon.

I have read & read about this & going with what the majority people said they do, is what I do. lol I leave ours out without washing. If there is anything on them, I wipe it off with a paper towel. We have ate them after a month & they were still fine. I do refrigerate if I wash them though.
