Do roosters have shorter tails when they are young compared to the pullets?

I have a few that I am sure are hens and a few that I am sure are roos but a couple I am still not sure. I was wondering about the tail growth of each.

Both my sexed pullets RIR had little to no tails. They are now 7 weeks look like they are both going to be pullets. I kept asking if they were cockerels but so far everyone says pullets.

I don't have any current photos because they move to fast.
