And if they do, how does sit affect them?

Yes...I don't think it really affects them, except they might not feel so pretty.

Yes, roosters do go through a molt.

It makes them stop laying eggs for a while until the molt is over.

(just in case...the part about molting is true; the part about the eggs is a joke)

My roosters are not laying-hey, they must be molting!

They molt, its just not as noticable because there is no decrease in egg production

I think they do,but I haven't noticed mine moulting as bad as the hens.
