Just wondering if I need to rest them with the small end down to stabilize the air cell if they will be given to a broody hen. Since they will be laying basically sideways under her. Any thoughts?

Thanks

all shipped eggs need a rest, point down or side is your chioce, 12 hrs is the least of a rest for shipped eggs.

That's what I thought, just wasn't sure. Thanks for the info!

I use broodies for all my hatching and I do let the eggs rest. The mail comes around 10am here and I usually put them under the broody after dark on the same night, so they rest about 10-12 hours.
