Do Some Breeds Have Louder "Egg Songs" When They Lay An Egg?

I've noticed that my Olive Egger and my Australorp are SUPER LOUD and go on for a really long time when they lay an egg. Other breeds in my flock barely make any noise when they lay an egg. Is this behavior - how loudly a chicken announced the arrival of an egg - breed-specific, or is it instead unpredictable because it's specific to individual chickens within a given breed?

I ask because I live in a very urban neighborhood, and so I try to be considerate and keep the noise down from my flock. So if loud or quiet "egg songs" are known traits of certain breeds, I might gravitate over time to the quieter laying breeds.

I don't know for sure, but my guess is that it's more an individual thing. For example, I just have a flock of four, two of which are Easter Eggers. One of those sings the egg song not only for her own laying, but for everyone else's! The other EE slips into the box quietly and out just as quietly.

Uncanny. You could be describing my birds, both easter eggers. One screams her fool head off whenever anyone is laying. The other one lays stealth eggs.
