Do they ever get full?

I use a gravity feeder on a table. (Coffee table type) we are adding another feeder and another watered.

Where can I get those?

Mine would dump that out and waste so quick.

Um. I set their FEEDER in a flat pan on the floor of the brooder. There is no way they can dump it out. It keeps what they spill out of the feeder from ending up on the floor of the brooder, mixed in with any bedding and lost. Am I not making myself clear? Maybe I should post a pic. But later, time to read to my DH (evening devotions).

Nine birds, quarter pound per bird, no more than 2.25 pounds per day and that is more than enough even for a growing bird. A coffee can ought to be at least twice that.

Just 9 growing chickens. 3 are Brahmas.

Yeah, that was clearly indicated.

What else? Mice, rats, wild birds, chipmunks, squirrels? Weigh your feed, if over the quarter pound per day per bird rule of thumb you are feeding something else.
